Read what a few folks have to say about us....
"Had breakfast on a Sunday morning at 8:00. I started with the 'sticky,' a large sticky bun with pecans. Not to be confused with the 'sinny,' a cinnamon bun. The waitress asked if I wanted it warm or grilled.... I looked at her and she recommended grilled. WAS SHE EVER RIGHT! I am still dreaming about the crispy outside and warm squishy inside. She recommended that I take one home and I said no. How stupid of a move was that on my part? I had the traditional 'eggs bennie,' perfectly cooked eggs on prefectly grilled bread, my husband had the corned beef and eggs and when I leaned over to ask him how it was, he was literally scraping the plate clean. We sat at the bar, the waitress was super, helpful and not pushy. Nice girl. If I lived closer this would be a weekly meal for me and anyone I loved. The fiesta wear plates add ambiance and there is outside seating in the nice weather. This is a MUST VISIT for Rockland (It's next to the dunkin donuts.) $22 in total without tip." "We spent three nights in a Rockport motel and each morning had breakfast at the relatively new Home Kitchen Cafe on Route 1 a mile or so south of our lodging. Magnificent sticky buns and cinnamon buns. Best corned beef hash we ever ate, with perfectly poached eggs. Everything home made, including bread for toast, corned beef for hash, locally roasted coffee. Extensive, creative menu for both breakfast and lunch. Serves as the breakfast and lunch venue for the owner of a highly rated dinner restaurant in the downtown area. Lots of locals, so not a tourist trap. Clean restrooms. Prompt, efficient service. Nothing fancy about the decor, but who cares when the food is so good." Trip Advisor review, November 2009
